Located adjacent to the Liberty State Park light rail station, this development sits in a neighborhood that has seen a lot of investment recently and is poised to continue that trend.
Arterial was responsible for the design of the streetscape surrounding the one city block development as well as the construction documentation for the rootop terrace. The pedestrian experience along with safe access to the train station were priorities identified early in the design process. Sculptural benches with ornamental trees and specialty paving created a flexible space for seating and other programming and small events. Decorative lighting transforms the space by night, providing an ambience that can be enjoyed physically or by sight. All street corners and crossing were designed to be ADA compliant. Working with world renowned landscape architect, Bas Smets, the rooftop terrace features a pool with sunning deck, lawn space with intimate seating and a hardscape plaza with a variety of seating spaces and game tables.
