Arterial teamed with NV5, Heritage Strategies, and Swell to produce the Morris Canal Greenway Corridor Study, completed in June 2018. The study provides an analysis of the historic Morris Canal corridor, which stretches the entire width of the state, and identifies a preferred greenway alignment. The proposed alignment of the Morris Canal Greenway spans 111 miles, passes through six counties, and traverses many different communities ranging from rural to suburban to urban. Arterial wrote the design guidelines, which seek to ensure that the greenway can be constructed at the local level while creating a unified look for the corridor.
