The Hanover Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) has been actively engaged in the retention of existing businesses and development of key commercial properties for the Township of Hanover. As part of their proactive efforts, EDAC envisioned that the residential and business communities be woven together through a network of pedestrian and bicycle trails to create a healthier, sustainable and more economically vibrant community.
Arterial was commissioned to plan and design the greenway system. As part of this service, Arterial worked closely with the township to brand the trail system “Connect Hanover.” Next, Arterial developed a logo, color palette and family of wayfinding signs to guide users along the length of the trail. The final sign system consists of a trail head totem, wayfinding signs, mile markers and trail blazes.
